St. Austell U12 boys Vs Various

At today's round of matches St Austell U12 Boys team first opponents were Falmouth Foxes after conceding an early goal but they kept working hard to find an equaliser but Falmouth scored another late on to win 2-0. 

The next game was against Truro much of the game was fairly even but St Austell managed to take the lead after a well converted goal . Truro came back and scored late on with the game ending 1-1. 

Next came Caradon. Again a fairly even game with both teams defending well but St Austell playing the ball out of defence and down the wing then into the D for a well taken goal  Caradon put the pressure on but St Austell defended well with some good saves from their keeper. Final result a 1-0 win for the team 

Next match most difficult of the day against Penzance who continuously treatened the St Austell goal but with some backs to the wall defending and some excellent saves the final score ending 1-0 to Penzance. 

Last match of the day was against Bude. St Austell had a lot of the early play but we were denied by the Bude defence and keeper they kept plugging away but ultimately lost 1-0 after a late well taken goal. 

What an amazing day of hockey for of U12s. All in all the whole St Austell team can be very proud showing great improvement from the earlier dates. Well done
