St Austell Ladies Vs Truro 2

St Austell we’re back at home this weekend where they hosted Truro 2’s. The first encounter in Truro, St Austell swept up a 9-0 win.

St Austell went all out on the first whistle. 
Two minutes in and Charlotte Jarman bagged saints first of the game. A matter of minutes later and Yasmin Emily had the taste of her own when she put away a great reverse strike. Momentum on their side St Austells attacks were relentless, Kellie Williams scoring the 4th in 12 minutes. Beth Horwell fancied her first and after a close shave with the ball, brought it down and tidied it away. Barrott, bagged her 2nd and Jarman cleared up another 4. 

The half time whistle found St Austell carrying a 10-0 lead.

The goal hungry squad stormed into the second half when Susie James put away the opening goal. This soon followed by Laura Tregunna who got the rebound from a short corner. Another short corner awarded and Jarman was back at it, this goal all the more special, Jarmans 7th of the game and St Austells 100th goal this season.  Next on the score card was Maisie Grace after another strong St Austell attack.
Laura Tregunna bagged herself 2 on the bounce, gaining her first senior hat trick.
Jarman showed her how it’s done and secured herself a further 3 and Horwell put away her 2nd. 

Final Score: 20-0

An unbelievable scoreline but an even better team performance from St Austell.
All players gave 100% and reaped the awards. Truro fought hard to the very end.
